Hey! A New Post!

So I've been taking a bunch of flak for not getting these pictures up sooner. But better later than never, I guess. It's from the Over the Falls Festival at Ohiopyle, which some of you might remember from last year as well. Here are a couple of my favorites from the day.

I just now noticed the person standing on the right part of this one. Oh well....

Playing With New Lenses

I got two new lenses this past week. Both are Sigma. One's an 8-16mm (I love it!); the other's a 55-200mm (haven't used it too much, but it's great so far). Here's a few photos that I've taken so far from around town and at the zoo.

The first are with the 8-16mm.

I'm Baaaaack (Sort Of)

Greetings, all. Apologies for the lack of posting at all lately. Apparently PhD coursework is much more time consuming than I had anticipated. Anyway, I hope to start posting at least fairly more regularly now. While it doesn't mean I'll be here every day, I do hope to at least get up a post a week--at least until the semester begins in late August. Then who knows. To kick things off, here are just a couple of photos I took while walking up to the store this afternoon.

Night is Coming

Hey all! It's been a few weeks since my last post. Did ya miss me?! I'll admit that I haven't really picked up my camera much lately. After taking photos every single day last year (well, except for once or twice), it was nice to step away for a bit.

I went down to Pittsburgh the other day. I was just leaving Spak Brothers (where they make a delicious vegan pizza and seitan wings), and I couldn't resist getting my camera out for this. I wish there had been a bit more traffic (only one car drove by; that's the red streaks) to get more streaking, but the sky is really what it's all about. You can really (in my opinion) see night creeping in.

Day 365: And In the End....

Well, I made it! It was touch and go there towards the end (at least as far as posting went; I was still taking photos every day). Thanks for sticking with me through the year everyone. This will be the end of the 365 Challenge part of this blog. I still plan on posting photos in the future, just not in the same frequency that I have been. So check back periodically and see what I've been looking at (through my lens)!
