Day 240: Sunday Funday
Walked around Elderton today and actually found some new things to photograph. Aaaaand here they are.
This first one is actually on our back porch. There's a weed growing up through the deck...
And I saw this when I was running and decided to go back to get a shot of it.
Here's me having fun on a slide.
And this last one is a tree in front of the high school. I really like how this one came out, and it's just a really simple shot.

Day 236: What Else?
I was going to take a particular photo tonight, but then I got distracted playing Final Fantasy XIII and it was too late. The sun was down and the shot was gone. So I had to walk around our place and think of something new to take a photo of. This was all I got...

Day 233: My Favorite Place Pt. 2
Here are (some) of the remainders from my trip to Ohiopyle yesterday. I only had one scary moment on some slick rock that reminded me of 127 Hours, but thankfully I caught myself and my camera was unscathed. Anyway, here are the nature/scenery photos I took yesterday.
First up, Cucumber Falls.
And here is one of some flowers with Ohiopyle Falls in the background.
And this is near the natural water slide.
And, finally, this was a spot (I think near the bottom of the water slide) that was all covered in moss.

Day 232: My Favorite Place Pt. 1
I have a TON of photos to share. And because I'm super tired, and I haven't skipped a day all year (I think I'm more impressed than anyone by that) I'm going to split the photos into two days. Today I'll be sharing photos from the Over the Falls competition in Ohiopyle (the aforementioned favorite place, as you'll see tomorrow) and tomorrow I'll share some photos of my travels about the park. Without further ado, please to enjoy, I hope you like, today's photos.

My friends Ben and Ashlee had some people over for a little cookout/get together tonight. That means some more photos of their pup Jaeger.

Day 225: Mott the Hoople and the Game of Life
I was thinking about trying to stay up for the Perseid leftovers tonight (last night was the peak) to see if I could get any good photos by leaving the camera on. Then I started falling asleep on the couch and realized that probably wasn't going to happen. Still, got a full moon photo, albeit not a very good one.

Day 216: Driver 8, Take a Break
Went to Ben and Ashlee's house tonight to watch the Cubs sweep the Pirates and play some poker. I was out first at cards, so I took a quick walk to take some photos. Sat down on the train tracks and took these.
This next one I had intended as a simple HDR composite, but it took on a life of its own when I tried to do that.

Here are some green leaves with the sun shining through.
I really like how that second one came out. That was all in-camera, no after effects at all.
